    Cub Scouting is fun and educational with program components for boys in the first through fifth grades. Grade specific Dens meet twice monthly for activities with boy's peers. Once a month, all of the Dens and family members gather for a Pack meeting under the direction of the Cubmaster and Pack Leaders. There are a variety of events and outings during the year. We welcome you to contact us for more information. Phone takes voicemail messages only.

NOAA weather station, Burlington County 911 & Fire School visits. Fee of $15 for Cubs, with Camporee Patch & Centennial Camporee gift for attending. Sign up by 9-24.

    Pack 44 will conduct a Pinewood Derby preparation Pack Meeting. We will have pinewood derby kits and wood-working tools and experts on hand to assist you in getting your dream car off to a good start. Those who have an idea of their design in advance should bring that along. We will also have lots of patterns for cool designs at the meeting. This year we will again have race heats for siblings and parents and can assist with your kit.

    The Boy Scouts of America celebrate annually in the month of February the Anniversary of the founding of the Boy Scout program by Lord Baden Powell in England. This is the BSA's 100th Anniversary . Scouts and Scout Leaders are encouraged to wear their uniforms to worship services this Sunday.

    The Methodist will be celebrating Scout Sunday. The scouts will be able to take the offering and prayers and blessings will be said. It is suggested that the 9:30am service would be the best to attend as this is the contemporary, modern service.

    Scout Sunday - Our Lady of Good Counsel Feb 07, 2010

    All Scouts who are parishioners at OLGC are able to participate in our Scout Sunday Mass. Please be aware that the Girl Scouts are also participating in this Mass. The Mass will be on Sunday at 9am. Please have Scouts arrive at 8:30am in class A uniform. Upon arrival, assignments to the roles of greeter, usher and gift bearer will be made. All Scouts will process in before the altar servers and be seated on Joseph's side. We will reserve pews for the Scouts and leaders.

    Pinewood Derby Set Up Night Feb 12, 2010

    Parents meet in Fellowship Hall Friday night to help set up the race track, tables, chairs.

    It's coming! One of our biggest events of the year is our Pinewood Derby & Friends of Scouting at which the scouts & siblings race the wooden cars they have been making at FUMC. 11 AM Registration. Food provided: pizza, soft pretzels & drinks.

    The Cub Scouts have reserved 3 warm & cozy cabins to make more room for 36 Cubs and adults at Scout Pinetree Camp in the Pine Barrens for a fun winter retreat. Friday evening through Sunday late morning. As always, there will be plenty of chores and fun for everyone!

    Each year Pack 44 is honored with the responsibility for the Pledge of Allegiance opening up the Memorial Day Ceremonies at Moorestown's Memorial Park on Church Street. Your scout should be in full uniform for this event. Please arrive on time to help greet, give out programs and participate in the ceremony. We remember those who have given all.
