Call for Artists and Musicians: The Moorestown Business Association presents a grassroots approach to art and business at the Moorestown ArtWalk on July 9th:
Moorestown ArtWalk happens on Main Street, Moorestown every Second Friday of the month, May through September. The next date is Friday, July 9th from 6-9 PM. An artist registration form is attached
We're interested in adding new artists, especially 2D paintings, prints, photography, mixed media; 3D sculpture, woodworking, glass, mixed media, ceramic; textiles & fibers of all descriptions; and musicians, classical, folk, and acoustic.
For Artists, there is a fee of $20 for each month in order to defray advertising/printing costs. Interested Artists should confirm with us as soon as possible so that we can reserve a display spot. Applications should include 3 to 5 photos (or a web link) and a brief description of the hand-made, designed-by-you artwork that you'll be featuring at ArtWalk.
For Musicians, there is no fee for the 2010 season. Interested Musicians should confirm with us as soon as possible so that we can reserve a live performance venue. (Please bear in mind that electricity is not likely to be available.) Also, please email a web link to a recording of your work (or enclose a CD with your ArtWalk registration) and a brief description of the musical performance that you'll be featuring at ArtWalk.
TO APPLY: Send a digital copy of the Artist Registration Form (available below) with 3 to 5 .JPEG or .PDF images of recent artwork representative of work to be displayed and sold at ArtWalk. The total file size of the email should NOT EXCEED 3MB. Larger files are blocked by the email system, and will not be received by the ArtWalk committee for review.
Moorestown Business Association ArtWalk's goal is to help local and regional artists and makers gain exposure in the marketplace, promote the creative, the handmade, and the sustainable, and to promote the businesses and restaurants on Main Street in Moorestown, New Jersey.
Upcoming dates are July 9, August 13, and September 10.
